Fried Seafood with Khmer Pepper


This quick and easy dish to make is full of vibrant tastes from the heart of Cambodia’s traditional cusine of fish and pepper. A treat for you and your family.


  • 100g squid
  • 100g prawns
  • 20g fresh green pepper corns (Khmer if available)
  • 1 table spoon fish sauce
  • 1 table spoon vegetable oil
  • 3 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 1 table spoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tee spoon black ground pepper
  • 1 table spoon palm sugar
  • 3 table spoons water


Cooking method:

Heat frying pan & add oil, then add garlic & stir. Add squid & prawns to the frying pan & mix together.

Then add fish sauce, oyster sauce, pepper corns, ground pepper & palm sugar mixing together well.

Leave under a medium heat to simmer for 5 minutes. Adding water if mixture dries.

Serve hot with basmati rice.
